The Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman is a government council that plays a leading role in the Emirate of Ajman in the development of public policies and strategic plans that aim to improve the economic, social, health, environmental, educational and cultural services in the Emirate. The council was established in 2003 with the aim of increasing the opportunities and means for the council to assist the ruler in managing the affairs of government.
The United Arab Emirates Football Association was established in 1971 and joined the International Football Association in 1972 and then joined the Asian Football Confederation in 1974 .The Association has achieved many achievements like The first national football team qualified for the World Cup finals in Italy in 1990, and won the eighteenth Gulf Cup championship in 2007 and Gulf Cup 21 in 2013, and the UAE national youth team won the Asian Championship In 2008, the U-20 youth team qualified for the World Youth Cup in 1997 in Malaysia and in 2009 in Egypt. He also participated in the World Cup finals in 2003 because the UAE was the host country for the tournament.
